Anger Management Stops Bad Behavior

Written By Janno Damgaard Lassen

It has been noted by professionals in the field of social work that children with emotional and mental issues are very often exposed to adults in their immediate circle with these very same problems. Angry parents more often than not have angry children. This is where the issue of anger management becomes very important. Adults who find they are unable to control their emotions often do need anger management. This is an absolute necessity if you want to prevent your children from taking on the same kind of behavior.

There can be no doubt that anger management is a big challenge for many individuals. If you have found that your lack of anger management leads to others alienating themselves from you then you most certainly do need help. A person who needs anger management usually only realizes just how serious it is once their lives are drastically affected. There are many people who cannot hold down a job because they are always displaying very inappropriate behavior due to their anger issues.

People who are well adjusted and make use of their own internal anger management skills find it very hard to understand why it is so hard for some people to control their emotions. It is completely unacceptable to behave in a violent or abusive manner due to anger. This kind of behavior is called anti social and it can be displayed in different degrees. There are people who make hurtful comments to others. These words can wound children and make them very angry. Then there are those who are physically abusive and batter those who are close to them. This is not only anti social but it is against the law.

Anger Management Improves Life

There could be many reasons why a person has anger that is out of control. Young children as well as teens can feel very strong feeling of anger. Management techniques can be useful to them. Often they feel they are not being heard or that nobody understands them and this frustration turns to anger. The anger can be displayed in a number of ways. If anger management is used to help them work through their problems at this early stage they will learn self control. But they will also learn to understand themselves. This means that anger management will help them to figure out what the triggers are that set them off.

It is natural to feel anger at times. However, a well balanced person will not have an over the top reaction that hurts others. It is also unacceptable and unlawful to damage another person’s property due to feelings of anger. Management could be a combination of consultations with a psychologist, literature, techniques and group therapy. It simply is not worth going through life and not getting anywhere because of anger. Management is worth the time and the trouble to you, your friends and loved ones.

Anger Control Is Within Your Grasp

Written By Janno Damgaard Lassen

Anger is a natural reaction to certain situations that arise.  What is important is being able to understand anger control.  It is quite unacceptable for any person to lash out in any way.  This lashing out can take the form of verbal abuse or even physical harm to another person.  Feeling anger is not the problem but it is how we react that must be appropriate when anger.  Control, whether it is for anger or any other emotion is very important. An appropriate reaction in a given situation is proof of whether or not we are well balanced individuals.

We are all human and we have all had times when we reacted in a manner that was not becoming.  This can happen very easily when we are feeling anger.  Control at certain times may be harder than at others.  Usually this would take the form of saying something that was inappropriate or hurtful.  We have all had the experience of feeling really bad about saying something hurtful.  The appropriate reaction is of course to apologize for our anger.  Control can spare a lot of people’s feelings.

When there is no anger control the hurtful words can become abusive.  Abusive words can turn to physical violence.  These impulses have to be controlled.  If they are not, an individual can do an enormous amount of destruction to the physical, emotional and mental well being of another person.  There are parents who have no anger control and end up taking out their frustrations on their children.  A spouse without any anger control will make life hard for his or her partner.

Learn Anger Control Techniques

The lack of anger control is often a complicated issue and is deserving of some professional assistance.  Very often it does stem from childhood and how we have been brought up.  Seeking professional help in anger control will provide us with some insight as to why we have this problem.  This is a problem that impacts very negatively on any individual’s life.  The person who has no anger control is more often than not disliked by family members as well as acquaintances.  Such a person would have very few if any friends.  Lack of anger control will most certainly have a negative influence in his or her place of work.

Self Improvement Guide To Assist

Written By Janno Damgaard Lassen

There are a variety of books and seminars available that promise to help you combat the negative factors in your life. A self improvement guide will illustrate the best means of getting rid of negative issues and replacing them with positive forces. A self improvement guide will reduce the impact of negative influences on your life.

In these modern times, our lives are dominated by work, errands, appointments and deadlines. These daily tasks take a large amount of our every day. It requires that time for family, friends and ourselves must be scheduled in the few remaining hours. This is the kind of issue that will be addressed by a self improvement guide. The things we enjoy most and find most fulfilling often have to take second priority. Often we are forced to choose between personal obligations and a successful career.

Many of us discover too late that those things we find most fulfilling, our family, friends and time should actually be our top priority. Without the help of a self improvement guide many of us never realize this. It is common to say that “time is money”. But time is far more than money. The time passing by while we are at work is our life passing us by. If you are in this situation find a self improvement guide to help you prioritize effectively.

If we don’t manage our time well, so that we can devote energy to our careers and personal lives it can lead to health problems, both mental and physical. The solution is a self improvement guide to manage our time so that it works for us, not against us. The first step is to identify what we waste time on.

Make Notes For Self Improvement Guide

There are two major groups: external favors and internal factors.

External is what happens to us like unplanned phone calls or conversations, poorly trained employees who need a great deal of assistance and frequent meetings.

Internal factors are our personality traits that allow us to waste time, and stray from our agendas. These include things like lack of discipline, working without a plan to accomplish all of your tasks, lack of deadlines and the tendency to procrastinate. Trying to accomplish too much and working when we are tired are also internal factors that can keep us at work longer than intended.

If these factors sound familiar use a tactic from a self improvement guide to help. Write down everything you need to accomplish in a day. Keep track of important meetings, phone calls and deadlines. Write down good ideas, thoughts and questions that come up. Deal with them later.

Now, write down your priorities, and identify which ones are most urgent or important. Make sure to leave time for your friends, family and yourself. Using these few tactics from a self improvement guide will help you in achieving your goals.

How To Achieve Success In Your Life

Written By Janno Damgaard Lassen

Do you know how you achieve what you want? Are you in tune with the nature of success?
If you aren’t, let me tell you that success begins and ends in your mind.
Just start imagining what you might achieve of you was to develop the mindset of a successful person… And let me tell you that this is doable, with the aid of hypnosis.

Lots and lots of people all over the world are building the life of their dreams using hypnosis techniques to tune their mind for success. The mind works in ways most people never get to understand, but basically it works in ways that could be explained like this:

“What you focus on, you get more of”

Now that is a very basic explanation, and a statement a lot of people make without really knowing what it means when they say, so allow me the time to explain in words you should be able to understand…
For the explanation I need to use an example from real life, actually of approximately half of the worlds population’s life’s… When a woman begins to feel the need to become a mother, (most women do) she will inevitably begin to ponder children, to imagine what motherhood would be like, and she will start to notice mothers in her surroundings, small children will automatically attract her attention, and she will feel like the world is full of women who just turned into mothers.

Or another explanation, have you ever tried being dumped by a person you had fallen for? All of the sudden, the radio plays love songs all the time, you see couples who look happy on every street corner, and in the movies they have kissing and love scenes everywhere… Sound familiar?

Now, let me tell you, that those mothers have always been there, and those small cute children too… And the radio don’t all of the sudden recognize your heartache and start playing love songs… And finally, god does not send out couples to every street corner because of your heartache…

They have always been there… But “what you focus on, you get more of” Or said in another way, the things that fills your mind, is the same things that you will notice in your surroundings, and it actually is very simple and logical when you think about it, if some subject fills a lot in your mind, and it has strong emotions attached to it within you, you are inevitably going to notice it, when it comes into your “sphere”

So what can you learn from this information?
You should be able to deduce from this, that pondering over failure is going to bring… dadaaaaaa… more failure…

Instead of pondering on what you fear, or don’t want in your life, you should do your utmost to turn towards the things you do want in your life, see the glass half full, instead of half empty.

How Making Mistakes Can Become A Benefit In Your Life

Written By Janno Damgaard Lassen

Do You Embrace Your Mistakes?

The question came to me today after reading a couple of articles about making money with blogs and creating high traffic blogs at steve pavlinas blog on personal development.

Somewhere between those articles, and my own inner dialog I suddenly realised what I wanted to write about today. I am hoping someday a lot of people will be reading this article, but as of right now my daily traffic count to this blog isn’t quite what I am hoping to make it in the long run.

Well back to the question, do you? It is important to realise that making mistakes is part of life, we all do it, and we will all keep making mistakes for the rest of our lives. So mistakes are inevitable, and you are bound to make them, and that’s ok… it is not the mistakes that are the reasons for not succeeding in whatever it is you are trying to achieve. It is how you handle your own inner dialog when you make mistakes that counts.

Look at mistakes as teachers in your ride through life. Let the mistakes you make be your guide to becoming a better you. Making a mistake is nearly another way of finding the right solutions to what you need a solution for.

Some people beat themselves up in an endless struggle for perfection, actually most people do this, our natural tendency seems to be to be our own best critic, and whenever we make mistakes our inner dialogue starts putting us down. “Now you failed again, you are never going to amount to anything” “You dumb *** you made another one of your stupid mistakes, you just think you are so smart. Smart***”

Lots of people are not even aware that they keep an inner dialogue, they think they are just thinking, and concluding… But let me assure you of one thing, your inner dialogue is very important, in fact it is what will support you in whatever you think about yourself, and if your inner dialogue puts you down, guess what you will think, and more importantly, feel about yourself?

When you start listening to your inner dialogue, it will at first be hard, but if you keep trying to be aware of your “tinking” about yourself, you will get better at it, and if you then every time you think non constructive and helping thoughts would stop yourself, and tell yourself quite the opposite, your mind will slowly but surely learn a new pattern of thought. And in time you will begin to understand that failing is not really something that you do, you nearly find a way that doesn’t work, and then soon you will do things differently, until you find a way that works and give you the results you were going for.
