Why Should You Use Hypnosis To Quit Smoking?

By Janno Damgaard Lassen

Haven’t you seen and heard the warnings?
Haven’t you yet seen a smokers lung?

A Smokers lung and a healthy lung- The left lung is the healthy lung :-)Now that you have seen a smokers lung,(Its the one on the right..) you should have few problems feeling motivated to quit smoking, and today I am gonna try to convince you to quit smoking through hypnosis.

Most smokers that have the desire to quit smoking, have tried lots of the methods out there, Patches, Gum and inhalers just to name a few. But none of them gave the desired results, and why is that?

Most people when they try to quit smoking, focus on giving the body the usual dose of nicotine, and even though that is not a bad approach, you also need to look into the psychological aspects of smoking. Those aspects vary some from person to person, but they also have a clear pattern at the same time.

Somewhere at the time when you began smoking, your subconscious mind connected smoking with fulfilling an emotional need in your life. For many people that need is feeling like you belong to a group. You see when we are young and highly impressionable we deep down desperately want to be accepted by our peers.

And if smoking in the schoolyard or at some secret hideaway were a part of your beginning days as a smoker, your subconscious will connect the feeling of belonging to a group, along with probably the feeling of being someone, being smart, being in… and so forth and so forth… to smoking.

And what that means to you today, is that when you try to quit smoking only filling the body’s physical need for nicotine, you will be working against the root of your inner being, and trying to work against what you feel and believe deep down, is bound to fail if you do not change your inner belief system.

When you use hypnosis to quit smoking, you will be addressing both your body’s need for nicotine, which actually isn’t such a big problem to conquer, but even more importantly, a good hypnosis to quit smoking session will contain an element that addresses the emotional issues that you have so far been connecting to smoking. When you start looking into your reasoning about smoking, and why it is difficult for you to quit, you will end up feeling relaxed around smokers, and in most cases not even connecting smoke to yourself.

So as a hypnotherapist myself, I will recommend you to either see a hypnotherapist in person, or go and buy a hypnosis program online, and try hypnosis to quit smoking. I will even go so far as to recommend this hypnosis to quit smoking program, both because I think it is a good program, but also because it comes with a satisfaction guarantee, and if you do not like the results, you can easily get your money back. I don’t know of any hypnotherapist’s who gives that guarantee.

This online program, that you can download immediately consists of an E-book that gives an insight into your smoking habits, and addresses some of the issues I talked about above. And the hypnotic mp3 session that comes with it, helps you to permanently change your attitude towards smoking.

These 2 elements are what most hypnotherapist’s do in a hypnosis session, they have a pre hypnosis talk with you, and the only real difference is that the live hypnotist is able to more directly address your personal beliefs, but what you need to remember when considering to try the online programs out there, is that those beliefs are pretty much the same, the feelings of belonging, and being someone is mainly why we begin smoking, and what is holding us back when only addressing the physical cravings.

No matter which way you choose to go in conquering your smoking habit, I wish you good luck, and recommend you to use hypnosis to quit smoking.

I do think hypnosis is a useful tool. Especially with issues like smoking. But is it for everyone?
Hypnosis is pretty cheap and painless, whereas smoking is expensive and dangerous. Why hasn’t everyone quit by now then?

One problem related to weight loss is that after reducing a considerable amount of weight, the excess skin which was accommodating the previous volume tends to sag. It is important to get the skin to firm up and back to shape after losing a lot of weight.
